NATIVE BOUQUET
Native Bouquet highlights over 40 native plant species from the grasslands and oak woodlands of California’s Central Coast. Flora such as the maidenhair fern, California peony, snowberry, coffee fern and needle grass delicately layer and intertwine to form a botanical wall tapestry.
What began as pen on paper was translated into an 86’ long design for the courtyard of a boutique hotel in Paso Robles. Most visitors to the hotel will take in the expansive landscapes, but few will spend time peering closely into the beautiful ecosystems supported by the oaks. Native Bouquet shares a glimpse of the botanical treasures tucked away in the hills.
